Australia Has Over 11,000 Beaches

With over 21,000 miles of coastline, Australia is one of the best beach destinations in the world. From hidden enclaves to golden beaches and iconic waves, beaches Down Under are legendary. Within the city, the beaches have dedicated barbecue and play areas, cafes, rental stands where you can rent snorkelling equipment and surfboards, and souvenir shops. If you head out to coastlines in Western Australia, you’ll find remote beaches where you’ll probably find an entire beach to yourself. Beaches in New South Wales have a huge surf culture and a great place to spot dolphins and whales. Australia Has A Stunning Wildlife

Around 80% of animals in Australia are unique and cannot be found anywhere in the world. These include kangaroos, koalas, numbats, platypuses, wombats, cassowaries, and hundreds of venomous snakes and spiders. Some of these animals, like the dunnarts and Ligurian bees on Kangaroo Island, are endangered. The glossy black cockatoos are equally endangered because of a lack of habitat, flooding, and other animals eating their eggs and young ones.
Some of these animals aren’t just wonderful – they’re equally weird. For instance, the Fitzroy River turtle can breathe through its backside and remain underwater for 21 days at a stretch. Similarly, the Tasmanian wolf, which has tiger like stripes, is neither a wolf nor a tiger.

The Gardens of Stone National Park is equally mesmerising, with over 80 rare and threatened animals.
